Pursuing the future of Santa Barbara retirement living.

Since the inception of our senior living community in 1966, we've continually worked to anticipate and satisfy the expectations and needs of Santa Barbara's seniors. And over the years, we've expanded Valle Verde's resident capacity, made capital improvements, created new community amenities, and added services and accommodations for assisted living, memory care and skilled nursing.

And now, faced with an ever-increasing senior population, we're planning to introduce new residence options and enhanced community amenities, all while respecting the integrity of our campus and remaining within conditional use limits set by the City of Santa Barbara.

The Valle Verde Master Plan will create:

• 40 new single-story homes
• Renovations and enhancements to community amenities, including the dining room, fitness center and chapel
• New staff parking spaces to reduce street parking on Calle de los Amigos

Through the Master Plan, 66% of our acreage will be set aside for open space and landscaping, including a 9.8-acre oak woodland preserve.
